Thomas Wochnik makes site-specific installations. He holds an MA in sound art from the University of Arts Berlin. He is co-founder of the artist-collective berg26. His works have been exhibited at Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Singuhr Berlin, Skanu Mezs Riga, ctm, berg26, Meinblau Berlin, Ohrenstrand, a.o.
Currently he is working on his PhD on the performativity of perception. Scheduled shows 2012 include Klangstaetten / Stadtklaenge, Braunschweig, D, and Ars Electronica, Linz, A.
Besides making Installations, he has some profound experience in conceptualising and executing events and exhibitions, music composition and collaboration in all sorts of arts-contexts.
